Struggling with Gender Identity and Chronic Illness

I’ve had gender dysphoria my whole life but I’ve never gotten a diagnosis because my chronic illnesses have always been the forefront… can anyone else relate or give feedback on how I can start working on my gender identity?

I started with telling my docters about my dysphoria, try to make an appointment with a docter to talk about possible changes you can go through such as surgeries and hormones. You don't need to start now but opening the conversation up with a trusted docter is best. I went to a special clinic to discuss it with a gender specialist. Plan parenthood is a great resource for this too

gender therapy is a great place to start. there are individual therapists and group therapists. you can contact an lgbtq center near your or just search on psychology today. i hope you can get the support you need 💖
