If it’s financially feasible, you absolutely need to see specialists. I would recommend starting with a neurologist and a cardiologist that you know are familiar with Dysautonomia. Don’t be afraid to call multiple offices and ask questions to make sure they’re worth your time and energy, and if they’re not up to your standards, keep searching. Most general practitioners aren’t really going to be able to help you much because they won’t know a lot about the disorder.

I have small fiber neuropathy and POTs and I see a neurologist and an autonomic specialist. If you have been diagnosed, or if you haven’t, I would definitely suggest seeing a specialist or a couple! I know that’s easier said than done, but It helps to get the proper meds and treatment.
