Quitting my job to take care of my mental health. I’m second guessing myself for making a compulsive/exaggerating decision 🥺

I've done this many times. I always feel so much stress over quitting the job itself that I wonder if it would've been better to just stay.. but nah. Your mental health is more important than a job. You only have one brain but there's a million jobs out there!

I wish i could quit my job. But then if be a stay at home mom and that would be worse.
Nope nope nope. You made the right call! If your job is negatively affecting your mental health, or you can't balance a job with where your mental health is at, then take a break or switch jobs. Your mental health is way more important than any job. I just did this last month and regretted it in no way. I was nearing a mental break I think and am so glad I left when I did.
I just did this! It was much needed. I was second guessing myself when I was considering it and it got worse after. But you know your body and mind better than anyone else. If you felt like you needed to leave because it was risking your mental health then I am proud of you for making that decision. Our mental health is so important! It’s not worth risking your health over a job, there is always another job out there
You gotta stop and ask if that job is worth your mental health, and are tou going to work again anytime soon? If you're your sole income, not working at all will cause more anxiety. I'm currently awaiting to hear from social security, because with everything that's going on I should qualify but I still may not. Quitting my job was hard for me but may have been the best choice I've ever made.
