Should I Quit My Job for My Mental Health?

So I just got off of work and idk I used to love it. it was fun and I liked it so much better than my old job and it never really drained me but now it's so draining and the thought of going back just makes me want them to tell me not to come in like I rather be cleaning my whole house than go to work. should I quit for my mental health or just tough it out for a bit and hope it gets better?

Listen to your body and take the break for your mental health. When you feel better you can always jump back into a job

I went through this a few months ago and I was going through a rough patch mentally. I thought it was the job but it was me and my attitude towards it at the time. It got better for me and I'm glad I stayed.

I thought that too but I've been trying that and it only seems to get worse an worse especially when doing 3 other people's jobs

I didn't know how much I need a sabbatical and new job until I was let go after 6 years, I was definitely feeling that way towards my job, but I didn't want to quite without having another job in place but I was too worn out to apply. I was let go because I was burnt out and it was showing. It ended up being what I needed and I'm grateful for that transition. I probably would have stayed forever.

I am biased but if you are no longer happy there, I would say go for a change! But you can also have a plan if you need. ☺

I feel that so hardcore. Thankfully my job is a school job and the year is almost over. It really is draining. Honestly I think this last month is what caused me to have an ulcer because I was stressed about going in since I didn’t enjoy it. I think it’s totally ok to prioritize your mental health but make sure you have a plan when you quit so you don’t cause more stress.
