i have ptsd from a AS that happened maybe 4 years ago i really want to get romantic with my partner but sometimes just the way they hold me can can give me a ptsd attack i understand it will take time but it's been years and idk im horny tbh not sure what i can do to help me and them when i still struggle to talk about what happened meaning i can't really express what might give me an attack my partner is super understanding and said they are willing to wait forever even if it means we die together never having really done anything sexual we've been dating for about 6 months

Are you currently working with a therapist that is trauma informed? It would be a good place to practice opening up about what might give you an attack. As long as you can afford it. I know it can be a struggle getting a therapist and paying for one. There is no time-line for healing. Even if it's been years, it's okay that you're still dealing with the aftermath. You have to go at your own pace.
