Prozac and Memory Loss: Anyone Else?

I’ve been on Prozac for close to a year (currently 30mg) and I feel like my short-term memory is getting really bad and I’m having a lot of trouble focusing. I’ve previously been on other SSRIs, so some of these lasting effects could be from those too…but the memory thing is particularly concerning to me. Anyone else?

Those aren't unusual side effects for long term use of that kind of antidepressant ** when treating mood disorders, I don't know about for other uses. Time to talk to your doctor!

I've experienced this as well! I've had a chat to my doc and they gave me some reassurance that it's just my retention and just temporary. Your doc might be able to fill you in more about the side effects of long term use. You got this! ☺️
