Forgetfulness from Medication Use

does anyone have forgetfulness from taking their meds? I take effexor, Buspar, lamictal, and trazodone. it feels like I forget small things like where my shoes and my keys are and I'm worried that long term use is just gonna make things worse.

I have so many problems with my memory and general cognitive functioning due to my CFS. I’ve been on fluoxetine for coming up to a year, though it hasn’t made it any worse. I just wish there was some medication that helped with the forgetting.

Yes I'm on gabapentin cocodamol naproxen propranolol vlenefaxine mirtazapine and I have issues with my memory if it wasn't for my pill box with days and times I'd constantly forget to even take them

I don't take medicine for it, but it seems the older I'm getting the worse it is getting too. I heard of a plant that helps improve memory and mental health. When I find the video about it I'll post it. Of course it should be discussed with your doctor if it can be added to your daily schedule to reduce the amount of medicines you take.

it runs in my mum's family also. Some scientific papers suggest there is a link between antidepressant use and dementia. That's probably going to depend on dosage and how long you use them for. You could always speak to your doctor if it's worrying you

I honestly don't like taking medication. I've had a lot of bad experiences from being prescribed the wrong medication. Nowadays, I self medicate with pot, and it helps me more than anything else!@

I smoke myself and I wish I could find some that will help with my problems because I'm scared I'll start having ideations like I did when I was off my antidepressants.

I get this too. But my memory seems to be rubbish regardless. I can forget what I was saying mid way through my sentences

sometimes I get to be the same way. It really sucks because it makes me wonder if they're gonna make me more prone to dementia bc it runs on my mom's side of the family.
