For the past 4 months, my skin has been itchy with dry patches. It's soooooo itchy on my legs, shins, arms , back and lower abdomen. It started off on my legs. I have a leg tattoo which the outline became raised and sometimes the texture of my legs feels off. there's abit of dark discolouration patches and a waxy like feeling. I really don't know. I first thought it was dermatitis, but its been over 4 months and its gotten worse! I haven't been sleeping properly because I would wake up in the middle of the night from the itch, I would lather myself with moisturiser after a shower and when im itchy, but it has only temporarily helped. I also noticed my lower check and jawline is covered in ance. Despite using the daily skin care routine. I've become soo irritable and my anxiety and depression is been off the roof. I'm not too sure, if its life style change, stress or I'm having a hormonal imbalance. I also have a history of thyroid being in the hyper category which im shocked as im over 200 pounds and im 5'2. I recently moved to the US soo the health care system isn't great. The earliest primary doctors appointment i can get is on the 21st of December! I don't even know if the emergency care will deal with my case as it doesn't really seem an emergency. so I was wondering if someone can suggest a diagnosis and what I should do in the mean time to help with the itching. it's getting out of control to the point I'm creating open wounds.

Also see if anything in your diet makes it worse or what you use in the laundry.
Could be eczema or psoriasis, try salt bath and avoid anything with a perfume. Emu oil could help sooth it too. If psoriasis it needs a cortisone cream.
