When you find yourself in a depressive episode, how do you get yourself out?

I remind me myself it’s ok to not be ok. We are only human and if I have to cry then I cry. I try my best to think of something positive and remind myself that storms don’t last forever. You are strong and you are amazing ❤️

Self care day. Anyway I can. If that means I only have the energy to light a candle and lay in bed then that's what I do. I try to avoid stress to the best of my ability or I force myself into the tub and soak.

I haven't really figured that out. I just kind of cry until I wear myself out and fall asleep or I force myself to stop crying, take a moment and I act like nothing happened
