I knew something was off given my age and lack of a period, so I kind of expected I wouldn't be able to have kids even before the diagnosis. But having it be official has been tough. Then finding out I'm pre-diabetic, have osteoporosis and osteopenia, and a vitamin d deficiency really threw me off given that I felt and have always been told I'm overall healthy
I'm glad I'm not the only one who it kind of hits in waves. I really thought it wouldn't hit me so hard given I've thought of worst case scenarios since I was in my late teens. But I guess even with that you still are never prepared for the official diagnosis.
I've heard of some people having hearing loss and heart problems. How are you handling that? I've wondered if my hearing has declined as well and have wanted to get it checked.
I had hearing loss since I was 5...dealing with that at a young age made me stronger when it comes to my health... I had several surgeries on my ear alone..
