Another rant real quick because I have a lot on my mind So basically a few months ago my ex and I broke up. We did the nasty and I told my parents about it because they kept asking. Me and him hated each other but I made up with him because why hold a grudge you know? Fast forward to now I have been on the phone with him a lot and my mom doesn't like the fact we're friends. He isn't effecting anyone or doing anything plus all we do is talk. My mom keeps yelling at me because I have been calling him. She asks why I'm putting time into being his friend. She just told me that she doesn't trust me and honestly it's so draining. I know me and him did things that isn't the best but still why can't I just have freedom. Her telling me this is only making me want to do the opposite and it's just making me wanna get out of the house and away from her. It's so tiring and I really want weed. I don't know what to do, any suggestions?

If you normally have a good relationship with your mom outside of this then maybe try to at least talk to her about it. Try to explain that you are close, you have received the message, and the environment she is creating just makes you want to leave.

Mom knows best. Listen to her. Lol. I speak from personal experience of past toxic relationships that I'm still healing from more than 10 years later.
