      That's reassuring... But I also hope that means that after all the pain and recovery, it was worth it? I'm facing that surgery too.

        it was, I will say the first few days to about week are rough. But after that it gets sooo much better

    I was actually up and walking around later the same day! My pain was totally gone for two years, before another disc went bad on me.
