      Yes it does. Forget about telling jokes. I can't remember the punchlines. But sometimes a look of quiet thoughtfulness helps slow down the disruption and gets your attention back on track. I also learned how to keep things simple and I take notes on really important things. Other times I'll work on a different project while I can and give my tired brain a rest.
