How do I keep myself from feeling negative and giving up on my mental health journey? I've struggled with mental health since I was in middle school, and it only seems to get worse with time. I don't know how to keep pushing on.

I think it *feels* worse as we become more self aware and are able to cope more successfully, whereas before we'd flail and tantrum without understand why "everyone else" was being so messed up to us ... it only seems worse now cuz we can look at it better, and it's a good first step actually doing something about it.

Learn that anxiety isn't black and white. You have to break down the source of what made you anxious in the first place. I promise things do get better.

I totally get this I don't have a concrete answer, but for me, I've learned to be grateful for the little things in life. Just sitting down and appreciating the beauty of the outside, or the taste of food, or the way that water quenches my thirst. I need to focus on it to persevere through the grief For me, my depression makes the world grey. I put in effort to color in a little corner for myself
