I got prescribed a new kind of medication for my crippling anxiety/depression. After insurance, it costs $120. I found some coupon thing online that lowered it to $96, and I used my mom’s HSA card. I still live with my parents at 26, and want to die every day. How is this acceptable? I’m trying to feel better. How am I supposed to move out and be my own person if I can’t afford alternative treatments for the thing that’s killing me every day?

Try seeing if costplusdrugs has it. They can be cheaper because they don't deal with insurance companies and cut out the BS

Take care of your mental health before you worry about moving out. Being in a good mental state will help you get good jobs, and then you'll be more able to handle the costs (and/or have better insurance). You may also want to try alternatives. Celexa is cheap. But ultimately you need what works for you.

That is the million dollar question the Healthcare industry refuses to answer. Although I'm 35 and been living with roommates since I was 27, I've been in your shoes. Still fighting the good fight, lost a few jobs along the way, but I'm going to call for some outpatient care at a facility soon. Do you have a mental health facility where you're from? Perhaps outpatient programs would help you as well.
