Struggling with Mental Health and Condition

I feel that way all the time. My family members don't live in my home, but they live near me. I often for asking for so much help from them because of the fact my arthritis has made it hard to do things. I have a real aversion to asking for help because I don't like looking weak. I talked to my therapist about it and she is helping me get over my hatred of asking for help. Remember, the people that love you do not see you as a burden. It might help to talk to a therapist to help you process your feelings as it sounds like you might be dealing with depression.
