Depends on my mindset/mood. I really like helping friends but I also need to make sure I respect my own boundaries and needs, and don't focus on them more than myself.

I think that self care and personal boundaries are so important for me in not overdoing it trying to help. I work in Mental Health so I help others as my job but I don’t work too much and make sure to make time for me to do things I enjoy.
yes! I am very much a people pleaser I never find myself declining what is asked of me I'm the therapy friend everyone goes to and it's really hard for me to talk to others about my issues due to them being so complicated

For me it depends. If it's just give give give like a counselor or therapist then yes I feel that way. I kind of end absorbing their depression or anxiety into myself and I get worse. But also if it's give take thing and they talk and help me as well then it's not as bad. But I love helping people and listening to people even if it damages me in the process. Not a good thing but still. Just have to set boundaries on how much you can actually help a person.
Like, I'm glad that I can be there to help others and that they can rely on me, but their own mental issues just make my own worse
I do every time and feel that way
