Struggling with Medication Side Effects

You have a good prescriber if you were put on Wellbutrin. It has relatively minor potential for side-effects and also helps people quit smoking.

I have taken many meds before that gave me the numb feeling. Wellbutrin does not have that impact on me, it just regulates my moods, and it is somewhat of a stimulant for ADHD so it shouldn't make you sleepy or numb. Finding the right med combo is a personal and frustrating journey but I will say not to give up! it took me years to find the meds I take now.

I just got put in a medication for my chronic depression called Prozac. I completely get that feeling of numbness and needing sensations. Cold showers man. Cold as it goes. Jump in it and stay as long as you can manage it. Draw all over yourself in pen. The pen is slightly uncomfortable gliding across the skin and causes a weird tingly sensation. Put some Elmer's glue on your hand, let it dry and peel it off. It will pull all the little baby hairs and cause pain, but it's not harming you in any way.
