I've been isolated basically my entire life and I haven't had any actual irl friends in about 4 years and I don't know what it's like to be a friend or have one anymore.. but I dream of it. Please tell me someone relates :(

I relate wholeheartedly. I've been slowly isolating myself more and more since 7th grade (college sophomore now). I've always been anxious but used to function quite well. Family made it hard to express myself and they kept me sheltered and didn't let me do the things my peers we're already doing. My extended family put fear into my head about the world (mostly about men). My stepmom and her family were cold to me and there was a lot of verbal conflict at home. When my family split the first time, I lost the ability to make new friends. Till today, I haven't made a new friend and only have my old ones I've known since middle school. We're close but idk for how long. I'm not the healthiest in the head and want to be well.

I understand . Haven't had a true friend since 1999 or something . If anybody wants to talk . I would love some friends .

I can relate to this. I haven't had a real friend for 7 years. It's incredibly isolating having just my family and I'm not even close to them. Thank God for therapy, honestly. Sometimes I think it's better to be alone based on past experience and the anxieties that come with relationships/friendships. I have hope that one day things will get better though and I'll really bond with someone without any of the extra shit.

@crimsonwolf also may I have your tiktok I feel like ik you from tiktok
@crimsonwolf try making friends with people who are newer to the school and aren't rude or mean that's how I make friends with people bc people who know you more and don't have a friendship with you will most likely bully you if they are assertive
