my partner is having a sleepover tomorrow meaning he won’t be able to call, we call and sleep on the phone every night (we are long distance) but everytime he can’t call for a while i start to get nervous especially when it’s at night, i just always have awful emotional reactions and it makes him scared to have sleepovers with his friends and he shouldn’t have to feel like that, i just feel helpless and don’t know what to do. i want to do good for him but i’m just so scared and i hate that i’m like this. it feels like no one udnerstands and i feel so guilty all the time. i just don’t know what to do anymore.

@xenith I would have said yes, I apologize. I did not look at my phone much after this and got busy the past few days, however if you still feel you are welcome to message 🤗🫂

I feel like this as well. I often deal with anxiety episodes when receiving a message that it's negative news. It can make messaging exhausting like I am SO anxious and fearful something is wrong like ninety percent of the time. My boyfriend is spending the night at a friend's tonight so I am going to be feeling my own version of what you mentioned later

It's important to recognize and acknowledge your feelings of anxiety and fear in a long-distance relationship. However, it's also crucial to work on building trust and allowing your partner to have their own space and time with friends. To cope with these emotions, consider finding activities or hobbies to engage in when your partner is unavailable, such as spending time with your own friends, practicing self-care, or focusing on personal growth. This will not only help you feel more secure but also contribute to a healthier relationship dynamic.
