Does anyone have any tips on how to continue on with life after doing basic activities. Everyday I will do something simple such as shopping or stretching or something and even if I'm only doing these things for a few minutes I feel like I'm bed bound and zonked for the rest of the day?

One suggestion is to celebrate even the 'small' victories, like getting up and taking a few steps, brushing your teeth, or enjoying a snack. Another method that has helped some people is thinking of one small thing you can do to take care of yourself and cut it into even smaller bits if necessary. For example, if you don't have the energy to brush your teeth for 2min, brushing for 30sec is better than nothing. If taking a shower is too much, washing your face is better than not doing it at all. Eating a few crackers is better than not eating. If exercising is too much, just do some stretching. Also, never force yourself to do anything because that will just make you even more tired. Take it one step at a time and take frequent breaks in between. The breaks can go from minutes to hours. But wait as long as it takes until you’re ready to move on.
