Late Bloomer: Discovering Myself in My 30s

Sorry for the long post, jus needed to vent, don't have anyone to talk to

I've spent my whole life trying to please everyone and lived my life how my mom and family wanted me to which led me down a very dark path and I ended up using drugs to cope with the mental and emotional damage and we'll i over dosed about ten months ago, I've been clean ever since and since then I've decided I'm going on n my life for me and my kids and whatever makes them and myself happy that's what I'm doing. I also found out my calling in life or what I actually wanna do the rest of my life thru my over dose..I want to help ppl, I want to be a counselor or therapist or something to help ppl not have to take the path I did, to show them there's other ways than to turn to the drug and street life.

29 still trying to figure that out lol my life has been kinda controlled in a way so idk when I'll know who I am

I feel like it's a bit confusing even feelings of self doubt and identity crisis of not knowing who I am anymore. I mean I thought I was one way and then one day I realized I am but not.
