I had neurosurgeon say that my nerves are fine generally. I have L4 the is inflamed at the nerve root but they keep telling me it should be causing the neurological issues I’m having since it’s not actually compressed. I have a lot of back issues which they see on the MRI but so I assumed my symptoms were all caused from my back. Recently realized the neurological issues and pain/inflammation are probably more due to autonomic dysfunction (POTS), low neurotransmitters/mental health issues, and psoriatic arthritis on top of my back issues that make it much worse. If you and your docs and figure it out it may be a good idea to look into those or something similar that could be causing it. It so invalidating having doctors say everything looks fine when it absolutely doesn’t feel that way and your body isn’t functioning fine. I’m so sorry. Also if your doc hasn’t done an EMG test ask for one. It’s much better at showing nerve inflammation than an MRI.

Swimming helps ease my joints. I feel your pain though I'm pretty sure I'm having a flare because my joints are so swollen and the hospital dismissed me and wouldn't treat me.

Take vit B12 have you herd of enzymes they helps also ..maybe you should explain to your doctor you are in a lot of pain that it is effecting your daily life because sometimes they don't listen maybe you need a MRI or CT scan ..
