Seeking Support for Undiagnosed Joint Pain

Im feeling really emotionally drained lately, I’ve been having joint pain for the last year, which has been getting progressively worse and encompassing more of my joints. I don’t have a diagnosis yet but with me being 22years old I’m assuming something autoimmune, my doctor agrees. We are planning to get a MRI and blood work done this week. But I just feel like know one understands since I don’t look like I have any issues. Im just so ready for a diagnosis and hopefully a treatment plan. Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Any results from your tests? I'm in a similar situation and have been tested for so many things. Looking for some leads on what I could be missing?

@koalaX yeah I think the reason I’ve been pushing it off is because I’m scared everything will come back normal. Keep pushing to see a neurologist. Thanks for responding.

I’m 24 and started having the same issues when I was 21, though didn’t seek care for it until last year. Primary doctor and Rheumatologist suggested psoriatic arthritis because I have (suspected) psoriasis. Had blood work and x-rays, but no MRI yet, everything has come back normal. It’s frustrating because it’s at the point where it feels like the doctors don’t believe me anymore, but I deal with so much stiffness and pain. I also deal with a lot of numbness and tingling and many symptoms of MS or Fibro, but every time I’ve expressed that I want to see a neurologist I’m ignored. Good luck and definitely reach out if you want to talk!
