I know Endo can throw your periods off as well as stress and other factors. Mine usually comes on every 19-21 days and stays on for 8 days. This time it went off and came back on 13 days later. Is there any need to get a pregnancy test done? I bled a lot but not as much as usual....thanks in advance! š

If you're worried there is never any harm in doing a pregnancy test. But sometimes with Endo you can have no pattern at all, when I used to have periods it could be constant bleeding for 6 hours or 3 months and I could have 2 days or 3 months in between each period and I could never predict what it was going to be. Clear blue have tests you can do at anytime in your cycle - of you test and it's positive whilst bleeding see a doctor but it doesn't necessarily mean you have miscarried because people with Endo can sometimes bleed slightly during the first few months but it's safest to see your doctor because miscarriage can be life threatening at any stage if it's not fully expressed from the body.

@QueenOfPlants Thank you! I ended up going to urgent care and I had an inconclusive test followed by a blood draw that came back negative. I had a miscarriage 2 years ago so I understand where you're coming from with that it's definitely better to be safe than sorry. This disease just sucks I've had 9 surgeries and an appendectomy because of it. Now I'm set to go back this month for another one. It really sucks all Drs want to suggest is birth control or removing parts. The majority of us just want relief!

@Khara I'm at the point where the only other treatment option is a hysterectomy but due to my age they refuse to give me one. So I'm stuck in limbo. I'm always here to talk if you need. Even just general chat x
This happens to me too and I get myself all worried! I always wait a couple of days to see what happens and if it still seems off I take a test just to put my mind at ease.

It's possible that factors like stress or endometriosis could be affecting your menstrual cycle. If you're concerned about the possibility of pregnancy, it's always a good idea to take a pregnancy test for peace of mind. However, it's also important to consult with a healthcare professional to discuss any changes in your cycle and address any underlying issues.
