I had a hysterectomy in 2003 and abtt2months after I started having severe abdominal pain. It is centered at the vaginal cuff but radiates all the way to under my breasts. It can be so severe 20 mg of Percocet doesn’t even touch the pain. I have had several procedures and 2 surgeries to try and help it. Nothing has worked. They are sending me somewhere for possible pain pump. I am out of options. My dr says it’s the most severe case he has ever had. They don’t really know what it us or where to start and I am just going insane. There is never a time the pain isn’t there. Sometimes it’s bearable without medications and sometimes I take the meds and it doesn’t touch it. I lay on the sofa with a heating pad and use my lidocaine vaginally and just cry. Going to the hospital for pain relief is not an option bc they won’t help you if you are on pain meds. Has anyone ever dealt with anything like this ? After almost 20 years I am abt to lose my mind dealing with it. I hope the pain clinic they sent me too will put a pain pump I don’t want to live like this. Anyone have anything similar I’m desperate! Thanks ladies
