Yes, I chose to get a total hysterectomy (uterus and cervix) at the age of 25 due to the severity of my endometriosis. I had previously tried multiple laparoscopic surgeries and hormones to try and manage it, but it didn’t help at all. It was a hard decision to make, but looking back 5 years later, I still don’t regret it at all! My life used to be completely dictated my my endometriosis, and now I feel like a completely different person!

Had that before my hysterectomy. I've had a total of 8 abdominal surgeries. 3 were to address errors made during my hysterectomy. Every surgeon I've been to since refuses to perform surgery saying I've already seen the best of the best and nothing more can be done. I'm looking into ultrasound therapy.

Although not following a hysterectomy, but I experienced a significant improvement in quality of life after laparoscopic surgery. What are the options available to you now?
