I just had my hysterectomy after battling adenomyosis and endometriosis. My surgeon let me go home outpatient when I was vomiting in recovery. I had no anti-nausea meds prescribed even though I told them anesthesia and pain meds make me super sick. I ended up in the ER that same night super dehydrated and nonstop vomiting. I’m mad at the hospital. I used to work in a hospital and know that standard care was not met. I’m extremely upset with how my surgery was handled.
