Finding Hope in Unorthodox Methods: My Endometriosis Journey

After 8 doctors and 12 years. I lost hope, as a last effort I used medical tourism. I got a hysterectomy in Ukraine at 23. I am now endo pain free 😌. There is hope, just it may require unorthodox methods.

I've gotten a full hysterectomy leaving my ovaries. I'm pain free as well. Recovery was tough, but 3 months later I am feeling more and more like myself.

I'm trying to convince my ob that a full hysterectomy is the right path for me. I have tried the surgery to fix endo and now I get a shot every 3 months that's not working

I’ve found excision surgeons tend to be a bit more open to the idea of hysterectomy, so maybe try consulting one of them for hysto?

I had a hysterectomy 2 yrs ago but he left my ovaries and uterus so I wouldn't have hot flashes and stuff now I go in on the 10th for my second surgery because the pain has gotten so bad
