Hey so I'm 196 pounds rn and that's not normal for my age. I gained weight when I developed hypothyroidism and haven't been able to loose it ever since. I excessive, I eat healthy, and I don't drink sugary drinks. It feels hopeless bc my Endocrinologist just says to work harder but I am!

All from personal experience, not full medical advice; I dealt with similar stuff growing up for sure (went from 142 to 280 cuz of a medication issue the hospital did at the time), I’m finally back down to 180 but it took years to get everything perfect. Something I definitely learned though is not just to look at numbers on a scale, I am back to fitting into some mediums; the weight is now counted towards muscle. Maybe ask your doc to look at your med count/ blood test to check levels with your thyroid. Also twinning with you on the levothyroxine, discuss with your doctor what your eating (a log for about 2 weeks), and the exercise count to see if it works with the calorie count, they may have to adjust dosage or to look at a different addition/subtraction to your diet. I wish you the best of luck with it fr 🙏

Think environment, was my main trigger for my hypothyrpidism, due to people and environment (ppl who have experienced Narc abuse, or abuse often get hypothyroidism.. ) I would sit in a safe space and write down what places you go to that make you happy, and those that dont, but you have to be there.. do the same with people in your life. Then ask yourself, "Am I giving my power to these people and environments, that align with my true self?" Become aware of any stress imdusive activities and THOUGHTS...Our mind keeps us sick. I wish you the best. I hope you find patience, and ood progress during your jounrey 🙏
