I only became underweight after going to a specialist. He immediately put me on a gluten, dairy, soy free protocol plus on my own I gave up all sugars except for fructose from fresh organic fruit. My whole meal plan was organic. I ate all the fresh organic veggies I wanted, lots of salads and greens, organic fruit (mostly berries, apples, cherries) not a lot of citrus. Farm raised grass fed meats and cold water fish. My carbs were mostly sweet potatoes and lots of different squash. I went from 165 pounds down to 120 pounds in less than 2 months. My only drinks were water and herbal teas. It was actually TOO much weight loss and had a bit of a hard time putting it back to where I’m at now. 136 pounds. Hopefully I’ll stay at this weight. Eat clean Whole Foods. Shop the perimeter of the grocery store and you’ll be doing yourself a huge favor. Now I eat to live and don’t live to eat. Much healthier at 66 years old. And the most important part of all of this great advice from my specialist was DO NOT get the COVID vaccines! He said they’re killing the immune system and more people are dying from the vaccine than they are from the virus.

I have Hashimoto’s and take levothyroxine for it. I struggle with losing weight. I am at least 15-20 pounds overweight. I eat healthy and do moderate exercise but it is a struggle not to gain anymore weight.

Yes.. I just barely learned I have Hashimoto’s.. and prob only had it 5 yrs. (I’m 66). But I’ve always been small. I was curious, too if it’s a symptom.!
