My doctor would like me to remain on some form of hormonal treatment, until I’m ready to start a family, in order to slow the regrowth of my endometriosis/preserve fertility (post excision surgery). Has anyone else been told this?

I was on IUD for couple of years before I wanted to get pregnant. It helped me a lot. Know when I am not taking any birth control I have more painful flares.

That seems to be super common. Don’t let them put you into menopause or anything you’re uncomfortable with. I can’t stand hormonal medications they make me very sick, but for some it really helps

Before my hysterectomy, I was on hormonal birth control to prevent growth between laps. I'm not sure how effective it was, but my growth always came back despite it
