Does anyone have any suggestions for how to help a young child alter feel safer and like they can relax after having to remember suppressed trauma? I recently ended up venting to my partner about several instances of trauma and it triggered a younger alter into remembering things no one knew about and brought up details about one of the traumatic events I was venting about that made all of us more uncomfortable, it's been a few days like this and I feel horrible.
