Anyone who uses hearing aids has anything related to SPD and APD, coupled with actual hearing loss. I've been considering getting hearing aids again. My last ones were from medical ear- they were the only ones that my insurance would pay for that only amplified the sound- saying that I'm not liking them would be an understatement. I wanted to get hearing aids that could work with an app that could drown out. sounds around me when I'm speaking to someone or listening to my surroundings and maybe listening to music I want. most of what I found want to charge a high price for charge an insane monthly plan. my budget is in the ballpark of $2,000 (in increments) at about a but the cheaper the better really. basically I was just looking for any suggestions on what's being used. how do they work for you.
