Hi guys, Today when I went in for a scan to check on a potential gallbladder issue, they found an orange sized tumor on my stomach. I’m terrified. My parents ( whom I rely on heavily) called the local hospital and got a treatment plan underway. There is a good chance it could be the big “C” word. I’m terrified. Does anyone have any words of encouragement? I need some kind words right now.

Hey guys, My results came in today. My tests were rushed, thanks to my parents raising some Cane. What was supposed to be the size of an orange, turned in to something the size of my thumb. It was misread by not one, not two, but THREE doctors before they sent it to a third party. My treatment plan is now to go to a specialist three hours away, but they are very sure that it is not cancerous, based on its location and size. I have to get another scan in two weeks to make sure it isn’t growing. Am I relieved? Absolutely! I’m still sick, and I’m being monitored since I can’t eat without being sick, but we discussed possible feeding substitutes which gives me major anxiety. Thank you all for the prayers and positive thoughts❤️

as someone who struggles w health concerns and works in healthcare, tumors can be awful. however, most of them are only hardest when getting removed. you probably will lose your appetite. and you’re gonna make it through. 2 things can be true at the same time. it sucks AND everything works for the good.

My friend lived with a huge one bigger than an orange in her stomach. She couldn't afford medical care so she went to Mexico and had it taken out for half of what she would have paid for here. I'll pray it's not the big c 🙄😉✌️
@EmbalmerWithAnxiety So glad!! You've got this!

Take a deep breath. It’s terrifying but remember that with modern medicine cancer is usually not a death sentence - it’s okay to be afraid but remember that science is on your side. Hopefully you caught it in time (consider it was found during an unrelated scan) and that there is no complications with treatment 💕 It’s okay to be scared - this is something that is super scary! But talk with your treatment team about your fears, ask them if they can provide any reassurance on small things like blood work, or lab results, or even treatment successes. Also try to connect with a group of it does turn out to be cancer - everyday people face this scary diagnosis and you do not have to do it alone. There is a whole community there to help you along your way. Keeping you in my thoughts, I hope everything works out ❤️
You got this you are strong and when you don’t feel strong we are all here to help and pick you up
Worst case scenario: it's cancerous, and there is some more found thanks to the tumor. You begin treatment with an advantage, thanks to the discovery of the tumor that notified you of the issue. Better case: There is only a cancerous tumor. It's removed! You will be monitored and it will be treated RIGHT AWAY if any signs appear in the future. Best case: It's noncancerous. Fibroid tumors are common. In fact, I've had two family members get one removed this year. One was the size of a football! What won't change: Your support system and medical team will do their best to take care of you. You will grow from this experience. Negative: Having to take care of a health issue isn't fun, and can result in some pain and sometimes trauma. Positive: All the new lessons you'll learn about yourself going through something new. All the new people you'll meet. The comfort you'll receive. This problem won't last forever, and you'll be a better, much cooler person with a scar for it. Advice: Grow your support system if you need more needs and emotional support met. Find peace with yourself and the situation, however things might change, so you can go through it at your best and handle things to the best of your ability. Peace is reality-changing. My kind words: I'm proud of you!!!! I love you, stranger ❤️
Your get through this.One day at a time.I will be praying for you 💖💖💖
The tumor could be nothing. My father had a tumor the size of a grapefruit and banana put together along his liver. Wasn't even cancerous. Try not to stress to much about it because you havent done the scan and or biopsy yet. Prayers love.
God is with you and will help you through this. Prayers for you

Just know that whatever happens, will happen. There's really nothing you can do except to go forward. And you'll be ok. Everything will work out and turn out the right way. Just know that you always have people to rely on and you're never alone<33
@carter._.16 thank you❤️
You will get through this. It is not a death sentence at all. Cancer is only a chance, it’s not definite. It could very well not be cancer, keep that in mind. It might be, it might not. Either way, you’ll get through it. You’re so so brave and strong. You got this. Sending hugs 💕
