Feeling Frustrated with My Disability

I want to scream and cry I’m so fucking frustrated. I want to use my cane so fucking bad it’s stupid. I feel like shit physically and also mentally: I’m not disabled enough anymore and it fucking sucks. I want to go back to where I was able to use my cane without hearing my families comments and where I used my cane without shame. It also sucks because I know I will face judgement from my team and it’s a struggle. I just need assurance.

If your cane helps you it isn't other people's place to judge you for using it. That isn't other people's decision and no one can tell you what your own personal experiences with your disability are. Im sorry your family is putting you through that, I hope you can find support.

Sorry to hear you're going through this. Who is saying you're not disabled enough? If you feel like you need the cane then you are disabled enough. It's not anyone's place to say what you need or don't need, it's yours.

If you feel you need your cane then you should use it. No one should be telling you that you are not disabled enough, if you feel unbalanced or are in pain then you should absolutely use it. I’m sorry that you are dealing with that, feel free to message me if you want, ik it helps to vent sometimes.
