Struggling with Mobility: Should I Start Using a Cane?

so I've struggled with my mobility since I was 7 years old. I have never used mobility and I'm 22 now. I feel like it's about time to start using at least a cane. but I'm afraid that people are going to judge me because of how young I am. it's hard to be out here trans pre-op EDS fibromyalgia the whole thing. doing just need to swallow my pride and just do it. where should I wait until I can't deal with it anymore.

Hey dude, i think you'd find a lot of comfort in cpunk, if thats your style. It rejects the expectation of disabled ppl to suffer and embraces the refusal to hide away out of the shame placed on us by abled people. Check it out, maybe it'll be empowering for you

Using a mobility aid is okay, people will give you crap for it but as long as it makes you feel better than just ignore the haters

I'm mostly worried about my family. I mean they've seen me struggle for years and years and years with getting around getting up and down stairs and all that good stuff. But I just don't really want to deal with their BS.
