Anyone else convinced that they don’t struggle enough to use accommodations? I feel like I’m not allowed to use a cane for my mobility issues or braces for my wrists. I’m also convinced that doing anything less than 120% at everything is lazy despite my chronic physical and mental illnesses

I used to but now I use what I gotta use. I have to use a walker for my balance issues. If I don't I fall and I already have hit my head many times and have had concussions before. I can't afford anything else. It's hard though because I know people are judging me but I have to put my physical and mental health first.

I'm the exact same way. I could easily get disability for my medical problems, but instead I force myself to use energy I dont have to go to work and give it my all. Applying for disability feels like giving up, but I know I wont be able to keep this up forever.
