(Trigger Warning) I turned 18 in March and have felt this inpending doom since, (i'm not 100% its related to my birthday) I've been having panic attacks every other week and full on anxiety attacks every other day, I feel like I'm losing it. Losing hope that I'm meant to live a life. Like I'm not going anywhere and will never improve myself. Everything feels stuck and I've slowly been becoming more and more suicidal but in a numb way, no motivation to hurt myself <3 but just like I'm stuck

I also know that feeling. I was having panic attacks almost every morning and if not the anxiety was soooo bad it was on the verge. It makes you feel like you're losing your mind and spinning in circles and will never stop. But you will. You really need to focus on your what your internal dialog is. I struggled HARD with this because it became a habit and I didn't even realize it. I had intrusive thougts, and still do but not nearly as bad. Also talk to your Dr about some low dose meds and get some sunshine, get out to somewhere you enjoy or you find pretty. It won't happen overnight but give yourself some grace. You'll get there.
Unfortunately both anxiety and panic attacks cause the feeling of impending doom. It is normal when dealing with so much to feel like you don’t know where you life is going. They key is learning to not let your anxiety and panic control you. Usually we fall into it and we let it control what we do and where we go in life because it feels like there isn’t any other option. Once you can get down some coping mechanisms and believe you are OKAY you can start learning how to do things without letting it control you. Nothing is impossible, if you find the determination you will be able to do anything.

worded so nicely <3 thank you so much!
I know how you feel i have the same issue i have severe anxiety and it feels like im never going to improve or reach my goals but i have and you will too it just takes time just take a breathe and think to yourself how far you have come
my love i know that exact feeling. just feels like a car with no breaks speeding into a wall, its normal. life isnt expected and unpredictable, you dont know whats ahead and its hard to stay optimistic if nothing has gotten better. Heres a way to feel better: look back at a time when you were absolutely at your lowest. Understand how you felt, and realize that even if it wasnt a lot, things got better. Even if it was something very small, it got better, embrace that. you’re entering a new stage in your life and it feels all very overwhelming and scary, and thats okay. Youre not supposed to know everything the moment you turn 18, and even many adults still dont know as much as you think they do. Everyone has their own pace, and everyone will have different experiences, youre gonna be okay. Make sure to include yourself in a good support group and reach out whenever you need help. Everything will be okay, i know its hard now but trust me we just gotta wait it out. Until then you can always message me for anything; rant, advice or a distraction. (Excuse me if i take some time to respond back, im not very familiar with the app lol) Everything will turn out just okay 💕
