Feeling Stuck and Anxious

I have been wanting to do stuff but thinking about it makes me panic but also I just feel so stuck and blah it seems impossible for me to do anything sometimes I feel like I don’t exist or something. Idk how to help these feelings. Is it anxiety ? Is it something wrong ? I just wanna be myself again.

Can you help? Connect today

Also feel like I can’t go anywhere unless my boyfriend is with me most of the time. I just wish I could stop feeling like I wasn’t real and not think so much about things. I was so outgoing and fun before my accident 5 months ago. Literally feels like I’m dying.

Hey! So sorry to hear what you’re going through… sounds like a lot. It sounds like you’ve experienced something meaningful that changed the way you are.. I think you should go to a therapist to get a diagnosis that will help you get better therapy and help… maybe cognitive behavioral therapy will help with or without medications… just don’t be alone in it!

I have learned the past several years to start off doing small things you have interest in or enjoy. Like said start off SMALL once you start doing that for a couple weeks slowly do bigger things. Like me, crowds, black light putt putt with lot people in the area , gave me a panic attack and I was on Xanax. But it never did anything for me! NEVER.... I'd small steps means taking a walk a park or going to a high traffic area and watch the cars go by, or bird watching... It's hard I know but small steps can help get the motivation for the next step.

I don't know what your going through with the accident stuff , but I say this with respect , major respect People get upset with the cards they have been delt , but sometimes you 🛑 stop and take a breathe meditate and play the hand you have. Who knows that next cars you pick up may be a amazing card and open a lot of doors.

Dear Anxious you are actually experiencing PTSD .if possible make a apt with your mental health services or Dr's that specializes in that. and also counseling will help. I don't know what type of accident you were In.Dont be hard on yourself. It takes time and the right type of help for you. You will get better . I'm not a Dr I was Diagnosed with PTSD and the symptoms were the same as you Describe for you.🙏

Sounds like anxiety to me. I'm the same it got worse when I had my son. Then covid and now finding out I have a chronic illness that lowers my immune system. I sometimes get physically sick when I know I have to leave the house alone. Or have a panic attack in the car once I get there.
