I can feel myself falling back into the dark dingy put of depression and I don't know how to stop myself. Anyone have any tips to hold myself up?

For me it helps to get out of bed and sit at my computer desk and force myself to play a video game I like, even if I don't feel like I enjoy it at first after a while the enjoyment usually will come back. Also calling friends even if my depression says I don't feel like it is a good way to feel uplifted for me.
