Enjoying a Sober Summer: Tips and Tricks

I have this problem . You learn to just adjust honestly… if you do drink alcohol you will flare . Maybe stuck to what doesn’t give you flares . I know it’s hard!! But your comfort comes first.

alcohol is poison in my opinion- have you tried mushrooms at all?

I had to give up alcohol because of my pain meds. So many of my friends and family gave me grief about it saying things like, “just one beer won’t kill you.” “You can’t party with Pepsi.” And other very hurtful and ignorant things. It hurts. But you can still have so much fun without it! Think about your bladder having to endure the alcohol. It’ll be healthier without it. We have to put our bodies first. You’ll feel better and will be able to enjoy yourself! 💕 🤗

Enjoy a non-alcoholic beverage when with them. I personally don’t drink but once in a while and I’ll have my own “mixed” drink with them.
