So to calm down I honestly cradle myself with a stuffed animal or pillow and tell myself “you’re safe it’s okay” then try to do something that comforts you like watching tv, taking relaxing walk, or anything that will distract you from being overwhelmed hope you can feel better about such a disorder and make sure you’re with the right person who understands what you’ve been through.
