Has anyone tried CBD, medical marijuana or other natural treatments for arthritis and had any improvements? I've had a fractured hip since I was little and the arthritis is getting so bad, its keeping me up at night

      I tried it for a while and finally realized it was making my pain medication stop working. Was in much worse pain using CBD. It took about a week and a half from stopping CBD for my pain meds to start working again. I did some research and it can interact with a lot of medications so check interactions first!!Didn’t work for me but others love it (they also don’t take pain medication for chronic pain and need that to work to function). Did research to find something else to help pain and inflammation that didn’t interact with my meds. I started using copaiba doterra essential oil (2 drop in water daily) since it works on the endocannabinoid system in the body and directly binds to the CB2 receptor without effecting my medication metabolism. CBD indirectly binds to the CB1 & 2 receptors and is expensive so even if I didn’t have a bad interaction I would still go for copaiba over CBD. Hope you find what works for you!

      I’ve found the concentration has to be pretty high for me. I have fibromyalgia and my little container is 2500 mg and works really well whenever I have pain that is relentless.

      I have fibromyalgia, and truly medical marijuana is the only thing that helps me with pain. With the right strain, I am able to forget about my pain for a moment, and enjoy myself. It can also help knock you out for some good rest. And I’ve gotten THC/CBD creams that cut down on my inflammation like nothing else. I would recommend getting your medical marijuana card and seeing what your local dispensary has to offer. The staff is always very helpful, and they often know what would work well for the specific issues you’re having.

      I recently tried CBD on my neck I've been having a lot of neck pain. And my chiropractor recommended it it's a CBD salve and it seemed to work wonders. I however do not have arthritis so I'm unsure if that will work well. Good luck 🤞

      I have joint pain pain but not arthritis. My hips and shoulders are my main issues. I tried CBD oil and found that it didn't make the pain stop but it did take a lot of the pressure off so I could at least sleep. I can't recall the dose or anything so that isn't a lot of help. I want to try it again in the future. I also keep tiger balm and Excedrin on my bedside, I'm not sure if either would help with arthritis tho

        @cozybunbun I haven't heard of tiger balm

      My husband's cousin gave me some CBD Balm and I have to say it really doesn't help that much. It is pretty much the same as using Icy-Hot. It works but isn't really the greatest.
