I tried warm baths I get brief relief from back massages. lately my neck shoulders and lower back hurt like crazy. any people have suggestions to help me. I have fibromyalgia and arthritis to. Kinda new to fibromyalgia diagnosis. I found epson salt baths and some stretching kinda helps. I am in a really bad flair today. Pain meds, baths are not touching very well. I learned not to push your body when you have a flair. Sometimes you need to slow down. I have a reaction when in a flair I can’t even handle the cool ac air. I have to get under blankets.

I have found that sleeping with a heating pad under my back helps with the pain. Sometimes even wrapping up in a heated blanket helps too.

I can relate, because I have 2 types of arthritis and fibromyalgia. You mentioned medical marijuana, did you use it in addition to your pain meds or in place of them?

Kinesiology tape helps me with arthritis pain and sometimes other types of pain, just depends on where it is. Aspercream for some other things. Making sure I support my body well when sitting in a chair, which for me means using pillows for support (and leg rest also helps).

I have Fibro and hEDS, so far Lyrica for everyday and Tramadol for flares helps. I also use heating pads and ice packs, and hot showers/tubs. I tried a TENS units and it didn't help me but I know other people that love them. THC also didn't do anything for me, but apparently the method matters a lot- edibles seem to not help everyone. Hope you get ideas and relief!
