I haven't been on medication in a few years but I didn't notice much of a difference when I was on it. It helps with the symptoms of BPD for a lot of people but unfortunately, I didn't see much of a difference
It depends. It helps with the symptoms of BPD, but it does not work against BPD. The ones I take make it feel like there’s an invisible helmet on my head blocking out the bad thoughts, but at the same time depending on the situation they’re not effective and the side effects overpower the positive
It's helped with my bipolar and OCD, but I've never really seen a difference with my borderline. The only thing that's helped me with that is years of practicing self awareness and pointing things out to myself like "This is black and white thinking due to object permanence issues," or asking myself questions like "would a healthy person be paranoid about this?"
