Do you feel like doctors dismiss your concerns, as they attribute it to just being part of one of your conditions, and therefore shouldn't be looked into further?

Yea. It is more challenging for me because I'm deaf and the Doctors has always dismissed me until a disaster happens then they'll go oh I'm sorry I didn't know. I'm like Yes you did I told you multiple times.

Or fight them to see someone who can diagnose you with the symptoms

Yaaasssss. Almost all of the time. I should be being treated for adult ADHD as well...but...like you said... 🤷‍♀️ And it really makes it discouraging when hoping to find someone who will objectively view your medical history/records, speak with/to you like the informed patient that you are, and draw logicalconclusionsfrom that point forward. I've felt numerous times like I get diagnosed before I even walk in the door. I'm sorry you too have experienced what I call "the dismissal of indifference"...it sucks. Don't lose hope! :)

Smfh yeah I'm going through the process of looking for another obgyn myself 😥 i just got diagnosed earlier this year. And was told i couldn't have kids but they won't give me a deposhot nor remove anything because i haven't had kids... Please make that make sense.

Hmmm I haven't thought about that but I have had my pain dismissed because it was "unrealistic" and was told when I asked for FMLA to call out at max 3 days a month due to my then undiagnosed endometriosis "I'm not going to commit fraud for you"

Oh of course sadly that's usually the case in health care when one complains about pain. Took me over 10 years to get the endometriosis diagnosis when all along i know something wasn't right since my first period came along but noone would listen.
