I’m 17 and diagnosed with autism and JIA. I want to seek further treatment for my disabilities but hospitals are very overstimulating for me and i struggle with my visits. any tips to deal with this?

Headphones are great, especially if they’re noise cancelling. If the lights are what’s overstimulating, I’d suggest blue light glasses since they kind of dampen the brightness. Maybe see if you could wait in another waiting room or area that’s less overstimulating if that’s the issue. Good luck!
