Anger towards disability laws for married individuals

Even though I am on disability I only receive $783 so I have no other option but to work part time. Which feels impossible at times and I often lose my jobs because of my bipolar symptoms. I have 34 jobs in my life starting when I was 18 and I am now only 36. But! I can only make a combined monthly income of $1380 or I risk losing my benefits. It’s complete bullshit it is basically impossible. And the government doesn’t provide resources to offset expenses such as housing or groceries. I mean WTF? It’s like they want us to fail. No wonder people with bipolar are more likely to die by suicide than any other cause.
