Struggling with Mental Health and Unemployment

Have you considered applying for disability? I just was told my Illness is on the list of disabilities now and so I applied for it. Also try unemployment for the time being, as it takes 3-5 months (in my state at least) to get any news on if you get approved for disability or not.

I get that so much, I've been in the same boat for years. I'm always switching jobs because either my mental or physical health gets in the way, and even when I have a job I can't work more than 20 hrs a week and have to spend all of time outside of work recovering from work. The only way I've been able to afford food is by having SNAP benefits, that has been a huge help. I applied for disability over a year ago and they still haven't finished the review. It can definitely get frustrating and feel like you're not good enough, why can everyone else manage but I can't... it's hard and I'm so sorry you have to experience this as well. I can't do much to help you, but just know that you are not alone and somehow it will get better. And don't be afraid of trying to get ebt or disability, it never hurts to apply ❤️

I feel you. I have 4 more months to go to hear if I get disability or ssi. I'm in too much pain daily to work a regular job and too much mental stuff going on to really hold a desk Job if it involves talking to people

I know the feeling it's hard but overtime one slow step at a time things slowly get better
